Plan for an hour to get through TSA. There are a lot of tourists. There is a high risk of getting stuck in line behind a group of tourists of 30+ that are traveling together. And many of them may be novice travelers.
Of you are prepared, it can be fast. No coins, no metal, etc. Any metal is going to bring attention you don't want, plain & simple.
Check the web site or MCO App. Both display current wait times.
It just depends on the day.
I have been to MCO 4 times in the past 3 years. Twice I made it through TSA in about 20 minutes. The other 2 times took about an hour. It's hit or miss.
It depends on the amount of flights but in my case (Tuesday midday) it was very fast...
