I have a flight this coming Saturday and departure time is 9:45pm. Is it recommended to go super early like 3hrs early?

I would say you need to arrive at least 2hrs early. The thing is you have to plan for the possibility of anything happening(traffic, car accident, TSA etc.) Once you get through security you can relax, get a bit to eat and just wait. The saying is true " Early BIRD GETS THE WORM."😁

Arriving 3 hours before departure allows for a more relaxed experience, but it also depends whether you are parking or being dropped off, and whether you have TSA PreCheck, CLEAR, are using the free Reservation Lane or regular security screening.

it depends but for me 3 hrs would be too early. the most i would need is 1 hour to get from the front door to my gate but it depends on you.

Ummm yes, I would recommend you to go at least 3 hours early, you don't know how long does it take you in the TSA process.

I would recommend at least 3 hrs before departure. I was there this morning at 3:30am and it took me 40 minutes to go thru TSA.
