I applied for housing in 2014 I have updated phone numbers address is still same.. But I have yet to receive anything. How long does this take. Could I switch to sec.8 and not lose my spot on waiting list or??????

I applied in 2009 right after I had my son in july, I just got a letter last week because I called and told them I didn't care where I lived. I already qualifies for a 3bd. I'm in Kern County and the main places they offer with LIHP is Bakersfield CA. I'm on the section8 list too! I now have 2 more kids with my boyfriend.

I been on the waiting list since 2011. I just barely got a letter in the mail this past week stating that I'm on the top of the list. I applied in October 2011. It takes a long time. I applied when my daughter was 6 months she's now 7!!!!
