They have food and clothing donation hours Tuesday thru friday 8am to 4 30pm and Sat 9am to 12pm

They have the food meal program for homeless on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, breakfast 8-10am, lunch 11am to 130pm. Food box distribution for homeless only Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8am to 2pm and Saturday 9am till noon, according to their website, I think the only food donation places are churches now days. Hope this helps.
As far as i know mend gets the food from surplus .markets and other sources. Thay keep track of where the food comes from.
