It's good, we have caught fish there and by Duck River Dam. It is easy to access the water there
The fishing is good n even better if you figure out the right spots during the right times. Some places are easy to access than others where I go fishing but Ive caught fish in every spot I've fished. But not every time. Just a hot and a miss on some areas. But fishing is fine . There are gar fish located in the creek connected to the river .
