I wish I would have gotten pictures of the room but I was to tired when I got here to do much. I stayed here for a couple hours while running VolState this year and it was a great experience from the beginning. The front desk staff was awesome and talked to us runners that were checking in and she was quick to get everyone checked in so we could all go to our rooms. The room was big and very clean in a quiet location at the edge of town. It worked out perfect for us because once leaving there was a gas station across the street and we were located next to the road we needed to take. There is food choices within walking distance of the hotel so you can leave your car parked once you get there. I highly recommend checking out the Richland Inn if you are in town and not wanting to spend a ton of money.

The absolute worst hotel I’ve stayed in!!! Checked into my room and it was filled with mosquitos and moths. The sheets have holes in them. The floors are dirty as can be, do not walk barefoot if you decide to stay at this nightmare of a hotel. There’s some form of weird brown/orange goo on the walls. The whole complex reeks of marijuana. The continental breakfast is terrible. They’ve been out of condiments for three days. They have no juice for the apple/orange juice machine. The trash is overflowing. So many unpleasant things about this stay. If you are looking to stay in Columbia, I’d highly recommend staying anywhere else but here. I am packing my family up and switching hotels to one with standards.

I am not impressed with the business practices of this motel. My relative booked a one night reservation (a Monday) to stay at Richland Inn. A credit card was given to hold the room. Due to a trip to the Emergency room my relative was not able to keep the reservation. Check in was 3pm. The motel was notified at 8am-9am that morning that my relative would not be able to keep the reservation. Richland Inn had already billed the credit card and refused to issue a refund. I will not recommend this place to anybody. Since it was deemed non refundable I ask if someone else could stay just for a getaway after work. Was told if the person or persons were not there by 3pm this would be denied also. This is greed at its highest level. Was not told when the reservation was made that it was a non refundable transaction if canceled.

This hotel was totally discussing So very unkept, unclean , mold in bathroom, and the refrigerator door so molded. Refrigerator ran odd all night, air conditioner was messed up. Ran cold for about 15 minutes then it wouldn’t run. We would never recommend this place. Only stayed because it was recommended, obviously they hadn’t been in it Breakfast was a joke also Also stayed because all others were full Price was totally OVERPRICED $129.00 should have been no more than $59 Never here again!!!!!:(
