My bed at the Hampton Inn, in Columbia TN, was so comfortable after a long cross-country flight and a most confusing and frustrating experience at the Nashville airport currently under construction and horribly managed, but that's another review. Check-in was seamless, the front desk was professional and courteous. It was the next morning when I stumbled down to get a cup of coffee in the restaurant. I was amazed at the breakfast selection available to me. I could choose from waffles, (real) eggs, sausage, home fries, bread, juice, pastries, and assorted coffees with real half n half. I asked Toye, working the foodservice, "Where do I pay for my selections?" She looked at me and said with a big smile, "Sir, this is all included in your stay. I said you're kidding! "Yes, she said, you are staying in a Hilton" "Hilton, I asked? I must be in heaven." It was that well done. What a wonderful experience. We were three days in the hotel. We rendezvoused with family there from St. Louis, New York, New Mexico, and Washington. We all commented on what an excellent hotel and experience it was. And the front desk was so gracious to let us all visit one another late into the night in the lobby/breakfast area. This is a very well staffed and managed operation. I highly recommend them.
