Staying for the week is part of the experience and encouraged. Some coaches insist they stay, some are more flexible about signing them out. Talking to his coaches would give you the best information for his particular group.

Boys can stay elsewhere any night if they are signed out by parents.
You're child can stay or go as you please. The first day is the only day parent's can go to the barracks to set up. If you miss the first day, then your son and coach get the job.
