Yeah the ceremony itself is maybe an hour, possibly a little less. The "get there early to get a seat" and wait for another hour before it begins is the really painful part.
About an hour. They will introduce the umpires. Next, they introduce each team, starting backwards, and call each players name for that team. A lot of teams leave early, at least that was our experience.
Opening ceremony was nearly 2 hours (too long) I believe closing about the same.
