Thanks for the info. I live upstairs over several businesses and I've seen dogs left in vehicles more often than I care to say. I just saw it happen a short while ago. Fortunately the owners left with the dog awhile ago. It's good to know what steps to take and who to call if this happens again.
If u have checked, & the vehicle isn't running w/ the AC on, call the SPCA emergency #, asap. There's an officer on call every night, 7 nights a week, & 365 nights a year. We have temp guns that record the temps inside the vehicle. We decide from there if there are any violations or not. Also, if the dog appears to be in distress, plz be sure to call emergency # asap. If u are unsure, don't hesitate to make a call either. The emergency # I'm referring to, is the shelter #, just press the # for an emergency.
