We've been here 3 times this month. We've never been asked for a boaters card however they do have a sign posted that reads " anyone 35 years old or younger require a boating license/card to operate a vessel."Also I have never done the pre sign up so I cant help you with that but I can recommend to arrive early, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend. They start letting people in at 0600. This Saturday we got in line at 0605 and launched the boat right around 0700.
We've never been asked for a boater card. Sorry i don't know how to do an online day pass.
Depends on your age weither you will need the boaters pass. Anyone under 35 years old does need the pass. The lake is first come first in every time we have been there with our pontoon boat but your boat "HAS TO BE COMPLETELY DRY. / NO WATER OR WET SURFACE ANYWHERES ON IT OR IN IT " AND THEY DO INSPECT IT VERY CAREFULLY. When you leave the lake if you stop again at the station they will put a metal tag on your boat so when you go back to SILVERWOOD you would not have to get another inspection as long as the tag is still there and from their lake. The lines usually go fast and hopefully you will have ALOT OF FUN. We always do
If you are under 36 you need a boater safety card. Reservation is not necessary but it guarantees you a spot on the lake.
