Must be a service dog with vest, if you try and pass for an emotional needs animal they won't allow and will make you leave or take the animal to your vehicle. I feel that rule should be a little more lenient but I'm not the boss! Emotional needs are just as important, dogs are like kids to some people and it just seems a little judgemental but who am I? Maybe they'll change it one day.
There are signs posted at the Rancho Mirage location that says No Animals unless a true service animal based on the California Penal code. I would think the same applies at the Cathedral location.
I think if it's a service dog they can go in but they are strict on checking
I've never seen small dogs at the one in cathedral City but I do know that you can have a small dog at the Palm springs and rancho mirage facilities
