I frequent Tokyo Central markets all the time, many locations and I noticed the pre-cooked collections in the main food central area, the rice is terrible quality! It is cheap quality and is "MAZUI"!

It's grab and go quality, quick and you get a variety of items in one bento box. If you're looking for better quality, please support the Japanese restaurants who have struggled during this pandemic, by calling in your order and picking up takeout, so they don't have to pay a large percentage to Ubereats, etc. I take Tokyo Central's bento home and make the rice into chazuke; otherwise, mottainai (wasteful).
