Hi Nye, Since you have track experience, you may be interested in our advanced driving program: Accelerated. We do require a prerequisite of having completed one of our standard 90 minute programs first. You may learn more about this program here: https://www.porschedriving.com/los-angeles/driving/pcna-m-pecla-xelgt3 If you are ever in the south, we also recommend checking out the Porsche Track Experience in Birmingham, AL. https://www.porschedriving.com/track-experience
They have a great selection of Porsche's to choose from as well as a selection of courses. None is like a race track, the one that is closest is more of a mountain road - you do get to drive the cars very hard and the instructors make it a lot of fun. There are a number of other sections that include things like a skid pan, a drifting track and a high speed loop which includes a replica of the Nurburgring Karousel. I enjoyed it as much as a track day.
In Carson it not a track it a learning how to control your Porsche when the car gose out of control and exiotic racing you drive high speed on the race track and you drive driffrent cars Lamborghini in Carson it just Porsches no other cars.
This is really not for someone with track experience. You pay to test out a Porsche of your choice through a variable track. A course instructor will ride with you and tell you how to the different elements presented by the track.
It's only worth it if you can afford to actually buy the car. If not, you are just paying someone to dangle cheese in front of you while you run on a wheel on one spot. I think you should just test drive a Toyota. It's free and the service department might have coffee and donuts.
