Honestly, I had to take 1 star away. I would have given them 6 but we didn't get to experience the restaurant. Closes at 2pm. This was the most fun thing to do. It's like the adult version of Universal Studios. The staff is awesome, the place is as clean as a surgery, the track is sooooo fun it took me 2 days to write the review. I was just blown away. (But keep the restaurant open for the afternoon session!)

The building was amazing. The staff is very nice and welcoming. My husband had an amazing time aboard a 911 Carrera! His face was illuminated by the experience! The only downside was the Experience for us at the facility. We got there at 3:30 pm & the Restaurant was closed and the Cafe didn't have anything to offer cause they use the restaurant kitchen; this cafe needs to be up and running all day, for the families living the experience. Doesn't have to be fancy but something that families can enjoy as they wait for the loved one's experience(Including juices for the grown-ups). Common PORSCHE THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE! Cause once you get through those gorgeous doors you want it all, inside the cars and at the facilities.

Excellent experience with the most accommodating, and friendly staff. Had an incredible Demo Lap with Hunter! He took me out on the track and really showed me what a professional driver can do with a Porsche. Afterwards, I had the most amazing lunch at 917 with my daughter and son-in-law. The General Manager, Oliver greeted us so warmly, and sat us at a table with a great view of the track. He shared how the chef and his staff produced everything on the menu from scratch from locally sourced items. We started our edible adventure with the delicious Peruvian Scallops and the presentation as amazing! I then had the Dungeness Crab Pasta with Pesto Sauce, a recommendation by Oliver, with handmade pasta and hands down, the best pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten. Of course we had to indulge ourselves with dessert where I had the Milk Chocolate Namelaka with toasted marshmallow ice cream. There are no words to express how good this dessert was, which was accompanied by a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Very reasonably priced and incredibly delicious, lunch at 917 is truly worth your time, and your tastebuds will love it. Again, the staff were so friendly and made the whole Porsche Experience, truly a memorable one!

This place is the best! I have been booking experiences over here for four times already and I’m awaiting for my fifth experience in which would be the accelerated program. I drove 718 GT4, 992 GT3, 992 Turbo S, and Taycan Turbo with three different instructors and they, both cars and instructors, are very awesome! Especially in the booking processes, Michele helped me so many times that I couldn’t be enjoy this many cars without her assistances. The restaurant upstairs is a must-go place, not only because it’s popularities, but also because the food is genuinely great and enjoyable with families and friends.

This is more a track , driver experience, car marketing track... not a real racetrack .
Hi David.Yes, we have a program called Porsche Owner Experience where you can bring your Porsche here to participate in a 90-minute drive experience with one of our Drive Coaches. For more information, please visit PorscheDriving.com/Los-Angeles/Porsche-Owner-Experience.
Hi Edgar, No! In fact the majority of our fleet vehicles are PDK transmission. We do offer manuals programs as well. We'd love to have you join us for a day on track!
Yes there is
Not if you go into the facility, it depends on how many people are there
Hi Nye, Since you have track experience, you may be interested in our advanced driving program: Accelerated. We do require a prerequisite of having completed one of our standard 90 minute programs first. You may learn more about this program here: https://www.porschedriving.com/los-angeles/driving/pcna-m-pecla-xelgt3 If you are ever in the south, we also recommend checking out the Porsche Track Experience in Birmingham, AL. https://www.porschedriving.com/track-experience
There are promotional concerts held there in the middle of the track
The hours for PEC LA are currently 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday. We are a facility open to the public, so walk-ins are absolutely welcome. That being said, if you're interested in booking a Drive Experience or Demonstration Lap, booking ahead of time is highly recommended as we must ensure resources are available. Any day we are open for photos, walk-abouts, taking a look at Porsche Motorsport North America, Simulator Lab drives, coffee / light-bites at Speedster patio, or lunch/dinner in Restaurant 917. Come by and check us out!
They don't use only base model Porsches. They have a wide selection of nearly their entire line - from Boxster, Cayman, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, and the a bunch of late model 911s up to the 911 turbo and 911 GT3 - for you to try. GT4 was available before, not sure if it is still since it isn't a new car now. Have fun.
Yes food is good. You can Have a sandwich at the downstairs cafe or a full lunch menu at the second floor restaurant.
As busy as I saw it getting, you could be waiting 20 min at front desk to get everyone checked in. Your coach will be waiting for you and fetch you from the lobby. Still probably worth it to show up 45 min ahead of scheduled time.
Hi Jennifer. Yes, there are charging stations at PECLA.
You are dreaming 😂😂😂😂
Hi Juan, We provide a variety of drive experiences where you can book one of our amazing fleet vehicles to drive on our driver development track. (We don't rent cars to be taken off-site.) Our experiences range in price, depending on which program and vehicle you select. Our Customer Experience Team can provide further details on our options. You may reach them at 888.204.7474. Please select the option for PECLA and you'll reach the local team here in Los Angeles. Thank you!
Yes
Hi Karen, you’re welcome to take pictures before and after the drive experience. However, we do not allow photography during the drive experience for safety reasons. We will soon be offering in-car content capture which will be announced on our social media channels. Follow @pecla for more to come on this!
I've driven at the LA location twice and was never asked about a picture option. There's a second floor outdoor balcony overlooking the course, so a friend of yours could shoot with a 200 - 400mm lens.
Hello, Restaurant 917 is taking bookings for small private parties indoors. For general reservations, our outdoor dining experience, 917 (K)afe is operating on Speedster Patio. For details on current menu offerings visit: http://www.restaurant917.com/917-kafe-outdoor-dining
You do not need a porsche to visit the center. It is free. And no they will not lend u a porsche. There is a test track where u can rent a porsche though.
I was there Wednesday, They have a small outdoor area for the 917 restaurant and another for the cafe.
Go on to their website and look up the pricing because, it's a little different for each different kind of car or if you don't want to drive and just be a passenger with a professional driver that's a different cost as well.
starts at 500, and you get a professional driving instructor. its amazing
Long Beach, but LAX as more flights. Nearly equal distance/time
Yeah, what he said. Honestly, I don't understand why people think they can get the answers from "GOOGLE F'IN MAPS" before trying the actual website or even, dare I say, calling the company or service in question! Google maps is a tool to help you find something or somewhere, not specifics about said company. Look it up! It's so damn easy!
I would call directly
The price depends on the course and car you want to drive. There's a complete list on their website. I dont believe you can change drivers.
You can ride in the Porsches. They have professional race drivers who drive you around. I don't know the minimum age. I'm sure there's probably some kind... you wouldn't send an infant, obviously. But I don't see why a kid couldn't go. I would definitely call them if you're thinking about doing something like that.
GT3, but not GT2RS. They do have the 918, but you can't drive it. Take a look at their website for the vehicles that are available. Please realize the track is a very tight, short course, so you can't exercise the full potential of the vehicles you listed. You'll probably have a better experience driving the 718 Cayman S than a 911 turbo on this course.
Yes. The one in Carson.
