We paid for ours, I believe $120 and that included the chip, him being neutered, his vaccinations, the heart and parvo meds, collar, leash, and of course the registration, tags and paperwork. And they do the adoptions, as mentioned in another post, on the weekends only. And not every weekend so checking PetSmarts schedule by calling would be the best way to know. They'll let you play and walk them and see how you get on with them so you can best decide. Just an fyi though...some seemed as if they were a bit sedated. So be sure to ask if when you take them home and they turn out to be a not so great fit what your options and/or their policies are in returning, exchanging or getting a refund. I think it was 14 or 30 days. Hope you find the best friend he or she has been waiting for!!
You have to check on adoption weekends..
I don't know the prices of puppies. I would give your local store a call. I would also suggest visiting your local animal shelter. They have many to choose from and most have limited time to find a home. You'll find many shapes, sizes, ages available. Some purebred as well. Good luck in your search!
Pet adoptions are usually Saturday and Sunday till noon.
