My cat is breastfeeding. Is it safe to spay her while breastfeeding? Should I wait until the kitten is eating solid foods first?

She will continue to produce milk after being spayed. HOWEVER, it can be painful for the mom and she will probably not allow the kittens. I would recommend waiting MINIMUM 1 month to be weaned. Please get them all fixed when the babies are old enough as there is a surplus of cats in shelters and many homeless ones roaming the streets
