The humane society doesn't provide free medical service. You can check Groupon for different vet clinics in the area that give you a discount price on first exam. The humane society of Broward only provides medical care to their own rescued animals and not the public as per a friend of mine that was fostering a kitten from them and once they had the kitten for a little while they told him it was his responsibility as they saw him as new owner.
