Locally owned and a beautiful hotel. My girlfriend and I always stay there when we go to gleenwood springs for our get away.

It is privately owned. It's not part of a chain.
Correct, it is privately owned. Local family, local employees, very little turnover in the 6 years or so we've been going there. They also support other local businesses in their commercial leases - check out River Blend coffee next to their lobby as one example.
I stayed there and i wasn't that impressed.
Independent - no chain.
As far as I now it's privately owned. They have a story of it's history in the room. I've stayed there twice and is hands down my favorite hotel.
