Do they still have the restaurant with the brook running through it? It was the most magical place I'd ever been for dinner and I literally cried when I learned that it had been destroyed by the fire.

The Brookroom was not near the fire. The Brookroom and log cabin are still intact. The pool and Mermaid room are still intact. All of these areas are still closed to the public due to renovation. Stayed here several years ago. Had dinner went to our room, watched some TV. Loud music coming from the bar. Turned TV off about 10pm seconds later the TV came back on

Yes, the Brookroom is very much still there. The owners are working very hard to get it up and running again. The estimated reopening is 2 years from today, and the reason why it has taken so long for it to re open is because the permits that they have to get and all three teers have to be ADA compliant.

No, unfortunately it is not safe (the Brook still runs through but it is sealed off from public) and I am not aware of any opening date for it

No. I believe they are planning on renovating that part of the hotel in a couple of years

There is no brook running through it. There is a small restaurant right in the lobby area. They were renovating when we were there. Our room was very nice, large, and had a comfortable bed. The whole haunted thing is kinda creepy.
