When I first start my car, it idles fine but when I'm slowing down & coming to a stop, it tries to stall. I had the battery tested and it's fine & just had an oil change. It is a 2000 Ford Contour with over 123,500 miles on it. Any thoughts? Thanks

It could be a number of things that make it stall when it's engaged in drive .. Ford's plate known to have mas air flow sensors.that will be faulty and make the car stall out or put put at slow or stoping speeds ... While engaged in drive my experience in a (2001 ford explorer sport ) You need to have the check engine lights checked an have a actual technician look at it .. midas is fancy backyard kinda shop they might be able to youtube an figure it out but beware it might not come out how they assure you it will an other things will be damage in the process so take a picture before the work on it so u can inspect the picture before an after
