Many towns adopting a no plastic bags policy. The paper bags are too thin to be useful so over time many people are getting used to bringing their own reusable bags. I didn't notice lower volume but this isn't really a Walmart superstore. There is no fresh or frozen foods and the food isles are smaller and limited items always.
I visit periodically and in my opinion, stock levels and product variety seem to be somewhat lesser here than other superstores I've been to.
It's Wal-Mart for Pete's sake.
Falmouth has banned plastic bags. Walmart has run out of the cheaper bags several times in the last few months. Job lot uses heavy duty recyclable green plastic bags. I use them when I shop at walmart.
Bring your own bags.
Plastic shopping bags are no longer used in the stores within certain townships. They're encouraging you to bring your own bags. IDK about the other items.
