Alkaline batteries no longer contain harmful mercury and can be disposed of in the trash. Rechargeable batteries of any kind may be dropped off for recycling. Call store for pricing on large quantities.
Yes they do alkaline batteries are safe for disposal in the trash. Rechargeable batteries are accepted free of charge there. I believe they charge for single use.
