Library cards are available free of charge to: All Guilford County and High Point City residents or property tax payers All current and retired employees of the City of High Point Students and teachers in public and private educational institutions in Guilford County. You will be asked for a photo identification that proves residency in Guilford County or High Point City limits. A driver's license is frequently used.A child, 15 years and younger, may get a library card if a parent or legal guardian shows a photo ID, proof of current address and signs an application form. The parent or legal guardian who signs the form is responsible for items checked out by the child and must assume responsibility for and monitor their children's use of the internet through the library's internet connection.
