Why is my new car's registration only valid until November 2017...rather than a two year registration. The registration fee on our bill is not specific

Usually dealership do a 2 year registration. Maybe a mistake was made and you still got billed for 2 years.

Debby, if your registration is not close to expiration, it just gets transferred. If it is close to expiration, it will be renewed. So it is a case by case situation for every vehicle purchase when plates are transferred

I would ask them, but mine was for 45 days for the temporary sticker and then the NY two year tag came in the mail a week later.
