If you are disabled the tickets are lower prices
Both parks have some good options for non-roller coaster rides. Personally I enjoy Islands of Adventure more, I'm s fan of Jurassic Park and Kong. Tickets are going to be expensive regardless of how you buy them - if you are a Harry Potter fan I recommend getting the park to park option so you can ride the Hogwarts Express between parks. We found that cost wise the smartest option is to do an annual pass using flex pay - 200 dollars up front, 16 dollars a month for the next year. If you go twice in a year they pay for themselves :) We ended up making it a tradition to drive the six hours every few months and stay the weekend.
One price, both parks
