What theme park is better this one or Epcot? I have a 8 and 11 yr old. Plus my mother will be going but probably won't be going on much rides.

I personally think with the ages of the kids that they would enjoy Universal better. I have only been to Epcot once but hold yearly passes with Universal. My daughter and I have a blast each time we go.

Agree with B Two and Tom Sutton.....with an 8 and 11 yr old .....most definitely Universal is the ticket ....gramdma will have fun anyway.

I did not go to Epcot but Universal is very good and they have many virtual rides... I thoroughly enjoyed Universal!

I agree. If your family is more into movies I would say Universal. Epcot is based off technology and culture with less thrilling rides. You can download the app for each and compare.

Universal and Epcot are so different, there is no way to say one is better than the other. Experience both if you can.

Epcot is beautiful and really fun. It has stuff to do snd see for all ages. This time of year they have a flower exhibition all around the park. The rides are great. There is a measure of educational resources too, i used to use epcot as a field trip. Universal is hard core rides. Some, Harry potter, mummy, transformers and spiderman and kong are scary. It is a great patk too. We go to both annually

Universal is better because its more kid oriented also it's mostly simulators nd and kid friendly rides which the kids will have fun on

Jason Gutmann | Sep 6, 2018

Epcot may be more suitable

Transformers ride was spectacular

LadyCandy27 | Sep 6, 2018

Universal is way better for them. Eptcot is about culture

Universal is one that I would recommend there. It has a fair balance of things for younger and older audiences. I would start with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter zones then spread out from there.

Disney Magic Kingdom has some pretty good rides. Universal Islands of Adventure does too.
