Yes absolutely. You can get roadside service even if you are a passenger in another person's car. Great customer service. The yearly membership fee is worth every penny.
The membership and car insurance are two different things. The membership covers the person in any vehicle, and you may enroll at any time. If you need same day service when enrolling, it is a $75 same day service fee to keep people from taking advantage of the company so make sure you have a membership just in case- especially if going on any road trips etc. Also remember to mention if you have an RV you may ever need towed
