Why is the "service desk" lady always ignore customers and only will chit chat with off duty stop and shop workers, today they were chatting about how sore their feet were. I gave up waiting after a few minutes, is it my responsibility to bud in?

I will answer my own question, no, it's not my responsibility. They are the closest supermarket to me, by far, but today was the last time I go there. Terrible, 5th or 6th time now this has happened.
