Yes 8oz water bottles and they told me no snacks but when I called they said 3 ounces. I took protein bars and granola told them I was a diabetic. They can't stop you.

Negative. If you are clever, you can pack them in a way that they won't be found. Bag check is pretty slack. There might be allowance for special dietary needs but you will have to go through guest services before hand and discuss.
