No, cabanas do require a reservation though, or they did when I was there in July.
I would recommend buying your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in the long lines at the entry gate. And definitely arrive before the park opens it's crazy trying to get in there.
No, it's first come first serve. I would recommend getting there about 45 minutes before the park opens since you have to go through screening, metal detectors, and ride a bus to the entrance. Buy your ticket online to save time unless you already have your passes. We went last week and it was amazing and had very small lines.
