I don't think you're allowed them.on rides but you can take pics. They will send you back down to drop your camera off or pass to someone to hold for you.

I was stopped from using my GoPro on the River Adventure ride at Jurassic World in Islands of Adventure. Didn't bother anywhere else after that. Probably depends how vigilant the assistant is.
