Those in need are lucky we have a place like this & the local food pantries. Ever since Scott took over, he's made major cuts to all social services. If it wasn't for Harvest Time, many of central Florida's families would go without food, especially those that don't qualify for food stamps. You're not obligated to participate & the are plenty of nonfood items as well.
They have signs all over that says you are buying "as is" if its spoiled when you open it you can't bring it back. But they also have diapers for 6 cents a piece, cleaning soaps for $1
The diapers and formula prices are enough to make something a little expired worth every penny!!
If you have issues buying products that are past the expiration, then you need to do some research and realize that expiration dates are and is a marketing tool used for consumers to buy more product and toss the expired one, also, most items are not inedible or unsafe to eat after the expiration date. Sometimes the items can be Stale, but you get what you pay for.... and its SO true.
I do,I don't buy things that are past due .
