Hmm well most rides might be down but the inside areas wont be closed so you'll be able to enjoy seeing most of the animals id say if you spent money on the tickets already you'd still be able to enjoy the event but id wait just incase you or your family would want to ride all of the rides but not everything will be closed down
In the rain its not a problem as it is a water park but....if there is lightning then the whole place closes. We were there and lost most of the day to lightning and got a complimentary day as we were a big group booking.
They do stop most shows when raining. They worry about lightning even if there is none. We just encountered this situation. Basically when it rains everone takes cover.
They close everything but like two things however, you can get a rainy day ticket to come again. Valid for a year
They will close the rides if there are a risk for thunderstorm. You can have a sunny Day return ticket if it rains.
They only cancel with thundrt and lightning but they do that at all parks. So it is a catch 22. It rained when we were there but still had a grest time good luck
