If I purchase a general admissions ticket and then decide later I want to pay for an separate activity at Discovery Cove but only do like Dolphin swimming for 30mins and nothing else. Do I have to buy both a general and discovery cove ticket?

Yes! Discovery Cove is separate and has its own fees. There is not swimming with dolphins at seaworld but you can pet them for $25 per person!

Yes, you do. The Dolphin show was boring not worth it. But the killing whales show was worth the whole entrance fee.
