Owning a share means u own a equal share of the whole resort not really the land under ur unit(thats my take on it)u will pay less in monthly fees and will have a vote on resort issues. I dont own a unit or a share but have rented there. But I see plues and minuses to owning a share.
You're probably seeing that people own a "share" of the property in the resort. Mostly likely meaning that the own that property
