Yes. It's loads of fun. Kids spent hours searching the nearby brook as well. One in our group found gold!
Yes you get to keep whatever gold you find. The people there will instruct you on how to pan for gold if it's in your oan its up to you to find it using this new skill. The grounds are beautiful and the self guided tour has a "wow" factor. Bring a lunch and beverages as there is a picnic area and easily accessible restrooms.

Yes it cost $5 i believe. If you find a small pc of gold flake you can keep it. You wont find much. The experience though was great.
Yes! We have taken family there alot and they found gold every time! Its little tiny flakes, but you get to hunt for it yourself. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful at the trough too!
