Alameda animal hospital is a low pay clinic, they also accept credit. I have a little over a year since I've moved to another city so I've heard the staff changed... With that in mind, What can do is the following if you have not already: 1) Call the animal clinic and ask for "payment methods". Of which, i am sure they are willing to work something out. If not, proceed to the following 2) If you are an individual with low income you can also look up your local low-income services the goverment offers.. I live in San Diego now, a completely different county. Each county offers their own vet services for low income families. I would advice you go to a library (if you dont have a computer at home) and look for those services, find numbers and call as soon as possible. Best of luck to you!
