We went the day before to buy tickets and get the seats we wanted but you can just show up, buy tickets and enjoy the movie. The concession stand no longer takes cash so you use a card or you can buy a gift card when you get your tickets.
I personally bought mine online so I couldn't say whether or not you can purchase upon arrival. The seating has been reserved even before corona so it would depend on the number of people there im sure. Best to call and find out before hand!
