I have two large, unframed oil-on-canvas paintings with a children’s theme, one of a tricycle and the other of tinker toys. Professional quality. I can send photos. Does the museum take donations of children-themed artwork?

I work there as a volunteer and we were just talking about this matter. As mentioned in a previous post, before the reopening of the remodeled museum we are not taking any donations. There is just not enough space to store things appropriately. But thank you very much for considering the JMZ and good luck with finding a new home for the painting.

The manager of the zoo just mentioned that they don't accept donations of that kind (especially since they are moving to a new location in May) but that you can check with the Rinconada Arts Center

I don't know maybe you need to call

I haven't seen any canvas paintings there. May be after renovation they can accept.

Not sure ...but you can call them and ask about it
