It appears as if the kitchen is understaffed
Understaffed. Also, the amount of people coming in from LAX is very high.
I didn't experience slow service during my visit, on a Thursday morning, between 10am-noon. We were seated quickly, received prompt service, the meal orders were correct, good temperature, and delicious. And our server didn't even write down our orders when she took them.
In our case, we took a long time to decide, by which time a large number of people came in. In addition to tourists, there's the after-church rush.
Short staff maybe?
My service was quite fast, maybe they're short staffed this week due to holidays. I've been in this industry over 25 years I can relate
I believe it's kitchen is unorganized.
