If you’re in the area you’ve got to stop at this cameo famous diner. Come early this place fills up quickly. If you get the pork chops they come lightly breaded and the chicken tenders were great. Don’t expect to get Pepsi like Cardi B did in her super bowl commercial… this place only serves coke products

This place is a must if you live or visit LA. Super simple diner with beautiful mid-century design and a menu full of all the hits. The biscuits are great and the turkey sandwich features in-house cooked turkey, not generic lunch meat. Finish your meal with a milk shake or other desserts.

Boy oh Boy! Let me tell you about this place! We were kindly seated to a comfortable corner section with amazing views of the surrounding area. Lorenzo greeted us with excitement and the experience began…upon selecting our menu choices we began to enjoy the Earth Angel flavors with lemon, blue berries and raspberries as we enjoyed the occasional company of our server. Once the delivery of these amazing entrees arrived- our mouths watered with joy seeing the perfection of what their chefs accomplish. The catfish tasted fresh from the boat, the chicken was perfectly crisp yet moist and delivered depth of flavor. The fajita omelet so eloquent and positioned with the best of veggie heaven delivered the hunger satisfaction rarely found outside of high level chefs. Friendly staff! Quick service! Do yourself a favor and experience the best LA has to deliver.

While visiting LA, I wanted some southern style breakfasts, grits, eggs, bacon, and added a waffle in there too! Pann’s did not disappoint. Grits were really good (especially with the cheese added). Bacon was crispy like I like it. Eggs scrambled just how I would do them. BUT the waffle! Most places usually waffles are hit or miss. Sometimes too soggy, sometimes too dry. Their waffle was really good. I honestly wish I had gotten more than just a half serving. I know sweet tea is very popular in the south. I typically don’t seek it when I leave home, but my friend decided to ask the waitress (who was beyond nice) if they sold sweet tea. SHE SAID YES! We just wanted a sample, just in case I didn’t like it. She brought over a shot glass size and OH MY, it was shockingly really good. Actually, much better than many places I’ve been to in the south. This will now be my breakfast go-to place when I visit LA from now on!

They serve breakfast that should cover all u want
Yes, they do.
No. Known as Holly’s Diner originally, it became Hawthorne Grill by the time Pulp Fiction was filmed in 1994. According to archives of The Daily Breeze, you could get chicken fried steak for $1.45 and a milkshake for 35 cents. Sadly, the owner of Hawthorne Grill, Chris Garneriter, filed for bankruptcy in 1996 and the building was demolished to make room for an Autozone. > Hawthorne Boulevard and 137th Street in Hawthorne
