No appointment needed to renew your tags. If you can't/don't want to do online, you can drop off a check/money order in the drop box with your plate number and a copy of your current insurance card. They process them daily and send them out right away. You should receive your tags in a few days depending on the mail. I reviewed mine 2 days later.
They are only doing renewals online or thru the drop box. If you nave a newly purchased vehicle to register then you need an appointment.
