You'll need 2 pieces of mail in your name that has the address your changing to along with your current ID and social security card. It should cost about $28. And the mail has to come from two different entities, not from the same place that is sending the mail to you even if the information inside the mail is for different purposes because they're only looking at the address the mail is coming from sent to you.

For plates, if the title is a Kansas title, all you need is the vehicle title signed by you and the seller, proof of insurance, and your identification. If it is not a Kansas title, you will need to take the vehicle to one of the highway patrol inspection stations to complete the inspection and if the title shows how much you paid for the vehicle, you will need the title, inspection, proof of insurance and ID.
