My group usually has a table reserved it only 5 people, but like others have said, it'll depend on the day of the week. But I'll add this, depending on the maximum amount of people it can't hurt.
Not unless you are going the night of a special event. It can get crowded but the tables are large and you can usually find one.
There are lots of tables that are sized to accommodate a party of 6, but the place can get pretty busy at prime time so it's probably a good idea.
Definitely on weekends, and probably for the best in general.
Also day of week. Weekends are pretty full. Later weeknights can be.
Not necessarily. Would depend on the event calendar. Although if the party of six or more is for an event then definitely RSVP
