St. James has two Food Pantries. The Emergency Pantry is operated by Metro Lutheran Ministries, open to all, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday. Their number is 816-454-5295 The other Pantry operated by the congregation is available by appointment for emergency service, and is open Wednesday from 5:30- 7 p.m. and Sundays 9:30- 11:00 a.m. That Pantry is considered supplemental nutrition for those who receive free and reduced lunches through the school system.
St. James food pantry is not open today, but MLM at the other end is open 1-3pm today..10-3:30 pm tomorrow with break at noon for lunch.
