There are lots of trails. Most go up and down the mountain but there are a few that hike along roughly the same elevation.

Yes!! Lovely hikes. Be sure to get an adventure pass from a the Cosmic Cafe to be able to park...it's like five bucks....or Big 5.

There are many trails around Mt. Wilson. Many maps are available. Don't forget to get yourself an Adventure Pass for the national parks, because the mountain is in the National Forrest your car must have an adventure pass when you park, it's only a few bucks. A lot cheaper than the ticket you might get if you don't have one. Passes are available at most good sporting goods stores: Big5, Bass Pro Shop, etc...
