Hello! I have a quick question, I may be getting a rabbit soon and I was wondering if you guys trim their nails? I've heard that you trim dog's nails but haven't heard anything about trimming rabbit nails. Thank you in advance!

Rabbits are rodents. Rabbits are burrowing rodents and will wear away their nails digging. Yes even if they live in a cage. They will dig at their cage constantly. If you try keeping a rabbit in an all metal cage keep the number of the veterinary emergency hospital handy also. Rabbits are nocturnal so it will be 3am when the rabbit starts screaming, (yes they scream), because they got cut or ripped their nails off trying to dig. Try building a cage from wood (no pressboard use plywood), with metal screen fastened on the inside where it is appropriate. The wood will eventually get worn down or eaten through in places and while you build a new one you can laugh at the moment when you wondered about trimming a rabbits nails. 😁
