Do you have purified water inside the store? The reverse osmosis is not purified water. It just takes the yuck out of the water.

Yes Janet, we do have a purified water inside also that meets the criteria. The standard "purified" means that the water has less than 10 ppm (parts per million) of TDS (total dissolved solids). The distilled drinking water averages 1TDS, and the reverse osmosis averages about 12ppm, which is extremely close. I could drop that to less than 10ppm, but it would use more water in the process. With the water shortage, I do not feel it is worth the benefit gained . So that you have a comparison, local tap water has a TDS of around 300 on the Avenue, to 800 in the Wells Rd area. The reverse osmosis process of purifying water takes out 99% of the contaminents found in the water, if you want water that is 100% free of contaminants, use the distilled water.
