It's not "for your convenience" it's so they can reach into your account and take whatever they want if you decide that you don't want to continue attending...
Hello, Billy. We require Electronic Funds Transfer (ETF) through checking accounts for your convenience. This allows us to be able to continue your membership without interruption or the hassle of updating your payment information if your credit cards are lost/stolen. Please contact our club when we reopen regarding any questions about our payment process.
I think they only take bank info now, not just a debit card. It's their policy. Check the website though.
